to anyone feeling like they’re not enough | a video for procrastinators & perfectionists

IG: https://www.instagram.com/rowenatsai | This one is for all my fellow perfectionists who procrastinate and put things off like there’s no tomorrow, and human beans who feel that they’re not enough. ❀️ As we grow up, we more often than not develop limiting beliefs, fears, and insecurities so deeply rooted in the external that hold us back from being our best and most authentic selves. I wish I had learned sooner that perfectionism wasn’t as virtuous as I thought it was. And that it was one of the root causes of me feeling like I wasn’t good enough, smart enough, pretty enough, thin enough, and every other [fill in the blank] enough under the sun. Today, let’s peel back the layers of perfectionism, see it for what it truly is, understand the difference between demanding perfection from ourselves vs striving for excellence, and share 6 tips on how to overcome our perfectionist tendencies. πŸ€“

For what it’s worth, every single one of you reading this.. You are enough. More than enough. Beautifully imperfect and wonderfully unique just the way you are. We all have gifts within us to share with the worldβ€”and I hope that together, we can encourage each other to be a little bit more like ourselves and a little less like who we believe we *should* be. Sending my love always x
